Nancy Calderon

Nancy Calderon is KPMG’s Global Lead Partner for IBM, responsible for building and managing the firm’s global relationship with the company.  In this position, Nancy manages a global team of 500 partners and professionals in more than 50 countries providing a wide range of services to this Fortune 100 technology company and its customers.  She is a board member of KPMG’s Global Delivery Center Ltd., the U.S. firm’s operating arm in India and sits on the firm’s Pension Steering and Investment Committee.

Prior to assuming this role in 2012, Nancy was Chief Administrative Officer, KPMG Americas Region, and U.S. National Partner in Charge, Operations, KPMG LLP.  She was responsible for developing and executing many of the firm’s Operations strategies and key infrastructure initiatives, ranging from Information Technology and Finance & Accounting to Procurement, Real Estate, and Enterprise Risk.  During the Financial Crisis she implemented a strategy that reduced the operational costs of the firm by $500 million.  Her direct reports included the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer, and heads of Real Estate and Procurement. 

Nancy has more than 26 years experience with KPMG, having held a variety of operational, client service, and leadership positions in the firm’s Audit and Federal Tax practices.  Before moving to her current position, Nancy sat on a number of KPMG committees including the Americas Region Management Committee, Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy, and Knowledge Management.

In addition to her client and organizational responsibilities, Nancy chairs KPMG’s Women’s Advisory Board and is a member of KPMG’s Diversity Advisory Board.  Both these organizations address issues and initiatives that support the advancement of diversity and professional development in the workplace.

Nancy also sits on the WomenCorporateDirectors Advisory Board, the New York YMCA Board and the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment.  She is a member of The International and the New York Women’s Forums and Belizean Grove.  Nancy has been honored as a “Woman Worth Watching” and a Supplier Diversity Leader by Profiles in Diversity Journal. 

Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York Society of CPAs.
