Neda is currently a Senior Director at CNN Digital. In this role she is responsible for building consumer facing multi-platform video products and toolsets that enable the programming of Live and VOD content. Prior to this role, Neda led the CNN Digital organization in establishing a video content strategy that promotes and showcases CNN’s content on digital platforms that include web, mobile, and streaming media devices.
Neda was instrumental in the creation of CNNgo, an industry leading award winning and patent-pending multi-platform video experience based on live television, related content and VOD programming. As part of this initiative, Neda was instrumental in defining and building an editorial team responsible for the programming of CNNgo as well as building the enabling tools to program the experience.
Prior to her current role in Product Management, Neda held several roles as a Producer and Senior Producer in CNN Digital. Neda has been awarded several Peabody awards during her career for CNN’s coverage of 9/11, the Chilean miners and the Japanese Earthquake of 2010.
Neda resides in Atlanta where she attempts to practice yoga and meditation but doesn’t do either all that well. She’s also passionate about animals, spends as much time as possible with her family and friends, and uses any excuse to sit in the sun and relax.
