Nichole Jordan

Executive summary
Nichole’s primary focus is to help our clients achieve their most critical business goals, based on a deep understanding of their needs and future aspirations. She serves as Grant Thornton LLP’s regional managing partner for the Central region.

In her previous role, Nichole led the design and implementation of a firm-wide growth strategy – working from the client’s business outward to take an integrated view of how we can provide the most value.

To enable our growth strategy, Nichole has helped lead the firm’s efforts to build a truly digital enterprise. Encompassing technology, operations, growth, performance management and finance, we are developing the digital infrastructure to enable our leaders and all professionals to connect closely with their clients and thrive in the workplace of the future.

Talent and culture are our key assets, and we have designed an array of programs to strengthen our professionals’ ability to build enduring client relationships and take on important enterprise challenges. We promote and leverage culture, diversity and inclusion as a strategic advantage and have implemented new sales and technology growth tools to support our teams.

She previously represented senior leadership in working closely with some of our largest clients. She has also fostered the firm’s key alliance relationships in a variety of markets and sectors, as well as built our network of advisory boards and leadership forums around the country.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Nichole is a certified public accountant in Texas. She is a CEO Perspectives Fellow and has completed the University of Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme as well as the NACD Governance Fellowship – The Gold Standard Director Credential.

Presentations and publications
As a leader in the industry, Nichole has spoken at many notable industry forums and has participated in panels discussing key industry topics. In addition, she has published articles on relevant business issues affecting the banking industry and is a frequent resource for reporters covering the industry.

Community involvement
Nichole serves on the board of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) and on the Accounting Advisory Council of her alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She serves on committees for MIT’s Institute for the Digital Economy, US Chamber of Commerce Center for Capital Markets Leadership Board and Corporate Governance Working Group, Gartner’s Sales Leadership and Customer Experience Councils, Consumer Technology Association’s Disruptive Innovation Council, Corporate Board Member and the Society for Corporate Governance. She has served on the boards of the American Heart Association and the YWCA.

Education
