Nichole Spencer is Director of Traffic for the Southern Division of Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales arm of Comcast. She has been in this position since 2013 and is responsible for managing overall operations of traffic department, which includes providing leadership, communication, technical expertise and operational integration in the Southern Division. She ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives.
Nichole began her professional career in the cable industry in Grand Rapids, MI, in 1996 as a traffic coordinator for AT&T. In 1997 Nichole was promoted to a Sr. Traffic Coordinator, responsible for training traffic staff on daily operational procedures and the Novar system.
In 1999 Nichole was promoted to Traffic Supervisor in Lansing, MI where she was responsible for the traffic and encoding staff as well as financial reporting such as close folders, estimates and commissions.
In 2005 Nichole moved to Sarasota, FL, as Traffic Supervisor managing the Sarasota/Fort Myers/Naples DMAs. In 2007 she was promoted to Gulf Area Traffic Manager and responsible for managing 5 West Florida DMAs. In 2007 Nichole was given a regional award for her accomplishments and in 2008 she was also nominated for GEM leadership award.
In 2009 Nichole moved to Nashville, TN, as SR Traffic Manager for the Southern Division OMC West which consisted of 13 DMAs. She was responsible for managing 2 Traffic Managers with a total staff of 25 Traffic coordinators.
In 2013 Nichole moved to Atlanta, GA, as Director of Traffic for the Southern Division which consists of 27 DMAs. She is currently responsible for managing 8 Managers/Supervisors with a total staff of 80 Traffic Coordinators.
Nichole is a member of WICT currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and 2 kids.
