As Director of Affiliate Marketing at AMC Networks, Nicole Adams strategically develops, manages and executes distribution marketing initiatives for AMC. Her marketing initiatives drive network ratings growth and assist in favorable carriage agreements. She implements and oversees all marketing tactics in Canada for AMC and assists in generating new business in Canada through strategic marketing tactics. She was named to this position in November 2011.
A 10 year veteran of AMC Networks, Adams previously held positions of escalating responsibility in the affiliate marketing department, starting her career as a coordinator. After her tenure as Marketing Manager at Fuse, Adams served as Director of Affiliate Marketing for IFC and IFC Films, serving as the key liaison between the distribution team and the networks.
Adams began her career in the fashion industry working for the swimwear designer Lisa Curran Swim and then she owned her own boutique in lower Manhattan. She holds a B.A. from La Salle University.
