Nicole Henrich

Nicole Henrich is a freelance producer in Los Angeles, specializing in reality programming and branded content. Ms. Henrich recently combined the two in an online reality series called Vegas Bound, which documents the residents of a tiny Texas town experiencing the unadulterated fun of Las Vegas. The project was featured on the cover of Creativity Online as an ADCRITIC top pick and received national media coverage, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Prior to moving to California last year, Ms. Henrich served as Development Director and a Supervising Producer at RIVR Media from 2004 – 2008. RIVR Media is a leading production company that’s created content for dozens of cable networks. As Development Director, she helped develop and pitch a number of concepts to numerous networks, including two Animal Planet series, Divine Canine and Whale Wars. For the first season of Whale Wars, Ms. Henrich traveled to the Southern Ocean off the coast of Antarctica to document the Sea Shepherd organization’s protest of the highly controversial Japanese whale hunt. Whale Wars debuted as Animal Planet’s highest rated series in the coveted 18-35 demographic. As a Supervising Producer at RIVR Media, she oversaw many projects, including the branded content series, Hot Trends airing on the Scripps Networks: HGTV, Food Network, Fine Living and DIY; as well as the short-form branded content series, Great American Minutes on GAC, featuring up-and-coming country artists.

Ms. Henrich started her television career in news, working as reporter/producer/anchor at CBS and NBC affiliates, including Gannett’s award-winning, WBIR. During her tenure in news, she covered more than 1900 stories, honing her skills documenting real stories with real people. In 2007, Ms. Henrich was asked to be a contributing author on Faces of Freedom, a book profiling American soldiers felled in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ms. Henrich holds two degrees from the University of Texas; a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film.

When Ms. Henrich is not developing and producing compelling content, you can usually find her reading a great book, writing music lyrics, sharing a laugh with friends or enjoying a hike with her dog, Kate Spade!
