Niki Roger

As the head of Programming Research for truTV, Niki provides the network with insights to help capture and maintain audience across platforms.  She supports Programming, Scheduling, Production, Development, Strat Planning, Marketing and Finance.  As such, she derives analysis from quantitative (Nielsen, Rentrak, Omniture) and qualitative sources (focus groups, pilot testing, online community/fan panel).  Niki also contributes to internal task forces that optimize the efficiency of research systems and monitors big picture issues like viewing trends, the competitive landscape and the ever-evolving cross-platform environment.  She also serves as the network’s designated instructor for Ratings 101.

During Niki’s eleven year tenure with Turner, her role has evolved from reporter-of-numbers to translator-of-data to guider-of-strategy.  She has had the opportunity to work on scripted comedy (tbs), scripted drama (TNT), unscripted and comedic formats (truTV) as well as acquired programming across all three brands.

Niki has a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Psychology and a Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
