Nora Abrego is the Marketing Director for Scripps Networks Latin America. She is responsible for the creative and marketing strategy for the region’s Spanish-speaking countries, positioning the company and its portfolio of brands in their expansion across Latin America. With over 15 years of media experience in the region, Nora joined Scripps in 2015 for the launch of its first channel in Latin America, Food Network.
Nora hails from NBCUniversal International, where she was Marketing and Creative Director for Latin America. In that role, she developed and implemented integrated marketing and communications strategies for Universal Channel, Syfy Channel and Studio Universal in the region. Before joining NBCU, Abrego held positions at Hallmark Channel and The Walt Disney Company.
Nora is a graduate from the University of Miami, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and minor in Business Law. She was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and lives in Miami with her husband John, and 4 children.
