Olivia Jarvis is a Director of Human Resources for Comcast’s National Engineering & Technical Operations (NE&TO) organization. In this role, she partners with NE&TO’s high tech engineering leaders in the development and implementation of people strategies and programs including leadership development, employee relations, organizational design and change management strategies and the development of NE&TO’s human capital metrics and analytics function. Olivia provides strategic human resources leadership for over 900 employees who are responsible for building, deploying and operating Comcast products and services.
Olivia has over 10 years of human resources and business leadership experience. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of human resources for a private equity firm in the commercial real estate industry where she developed and implemented the human resources department infrastructure. She previously held management positions with Mellon Bank and BISYS Banking Services. Early in her career she was responsible for leading the business development initiatives for a minority owned temporary service firm generating 50% growth in the firms overall billable hours.
Olivia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from West Chester University. She earned a Masters of Business Administration from Eastern University in 2004. She currently holds a Strategic Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is a certified PDI 360 facilitator.
