Patty Fowler

Patty Fowler is currently the California Region Director of New Product Support for Comcast Cable.  Joining the company in 2003, she was hired as Project Manager to lead the roll-out of the now cornerstone technologies of Video on Demand (VOD) and HD Video. She was promoted to Director in 2005 to oversee and lead the project management team that supports California Region’s initiatives.  To name a few, Comcast Digital Voice; iTV Applications including Universal Caller ID and HSN Shop by Remote;  Any Room DVR; All Digital (Cavalry) migrations; Xfinity brand launches; Advanced Services upgrades, product trials and guide roll-outs.

Throughout her 18+ year career in telecommunications Patty has held a variety of project management positions of increasing responsibility.   She started her career in 1993 as a Business Unit Manager with Internet Communications Corporation in Englewood, CO.  In 1996, she joined cable operator TCI to launch, nationwide, the company’s then-revolutionary high speed data (HSD) offering, @Home.  During her time with TCI, Patty continued to lead HSD deployments throughout Colorado, California and Washington. She was retained by TCI’s eventual successor, AT&T Broadband, where she eventually held the title of Director of Broadband Platform Deployment.  After Comcast’s acquisition of AT&T Broadband, Patty was hired by Comcast to roll-out yet another new, cutting edge technology, VOD, and is where she continues her career today.

A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences, Patty sits on the board of the Pleasant Hill Fourth of July Commission and is a member of the Diablo Women’s Chorale. Outside of work she enjoys hiking the trails of Northern California, daily walks with her dog, entertaining family and friends, visiting the wine country and working on home projects.
