Paula Aranda

Paula is the Director of Unscripted Series Production and Development at Vh1 in Los Angeles, CA.  In her current role, she splits her time between overseeing production of current on-air television shows and developing new show concepts in the alternative and reality television space.  Paula works as an Executive Producer on some of Vh1’s most recognizable and successful series, including the top new unscripted series on cable in 2016: Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party; and Vh1’s longest-running franchise on air: Basketball Wives.

 

She started her career as an executive assistant at Vh1 in 2010 and quickly moved her way up the ranks at the company.  Her programing credits include Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, Basketball Wives, Shaunie’s Home Court, Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn, Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn, Hollywood Exes, Atlanta Exes, Tough Love, and I Heart Nick Carter.

 

Paula was born and raised in Madrid, Spain and is a native speaker in Spanish in English.  She moved to the United States at age 18 to study at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
