Peggy Ballard

Peggy Ballard believes in people, potential, and powerful choices. After a 35-year career in marketing and corporate communications leadership roles in Corporate America, Peggy took an early retirement from Cisco and began her encore career as a career strategist and leadership coach. Her work focuses on helping professionals develop their personal career strategy and giving them the leadership skills, tools, insights, and encouragement that allow them to have a joyful, fulfilling career and the rewards they want and deserve.  She is a professional coach certified by the International Coach Federation.

 

Peggy has held executive positions at technology companies including Hayes Microcomputer Products, Scientific-Atlanta, and Cisco. She led global marketing and corporate communications teams, focusing on branding, public relations, digital marketing strategies, trade shows and events. 

 

During her career in cable she was honored as part of Multichannel News 2009 "Wonder Woman" class and CableFAX named her one of the "Top 50 Women in Technology." She was selected as a finalist for "Best Corporate Communications Executive" in the American Business Awards (The "Stevies") and was honored twice as "Mentor of the Year" — first by the Southeast WICT Chapter and later by Cisco’s Service Provider Technology Group.  ​
