Pei Chao

​Pei Chao is the Manager of Digital Video at Time Warner Cable where she is responsible for a multitude of digital platforms including video on demand (VOD), TV Everywhere (TVE) and Real Time Encoding (Start Over) across the Time Warner Cable (TWC) and Bright House Networks enterprise. In her role, she oversees a comprehensive video on demand catalog and ensures the accuracy of content/metadata delivery to customers across all devices (set-top box converters, mobile and connected devices). Additionally, Pei leads as project manager for TWC’s TVE initiatives, where she supervises and provides direction to a cross-functional team for the onboarding of services such as HBO GO, WatchESPN and Showtime Anytime.

Prior to TWC, Pei was at Frank N. Magid Associates where she developed benchmarks and recommendations for online safety for Verizon Wireless. She began her career in cable at iN DEMAND Networks, where she developed and streamlined a workflow solution for VOD content delivery to MVPDs.

 

Along with her corporate responsibilities, Pei is active in industry organizations.  She is the Communications Committee Chair of TWC’s Women’s Collective Network, the employee resource group for women at the company whose mission is to provide opportunities for advancement and development.  She is also an active member of WICT and NAMIC, and was selected for this year’s WICT NY Prime Access mentoring program.  

 

Pei graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Sports Management.  She enjoys attending Rutgers Basketball games and traveling to sunny places during her free time. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.  ​
