Ramonica Harton

Ramonica Harton is Director of Business Development & Multi-Platform Distribution for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) in Turner Network Sales, a division of Turner responsible for the sales and marketing of Turner Broadcasting’s 10 domestic basic cable networks – TBS, TNT, CNN, HLN, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, CNN International, CNN en Español, Boomerang and truTV.  Ramonica is responsible for fostering the strategic development and execution of non-linear platform distribution for Turner’s core properties across broadband, mobile, tablets, interactive and Internet-enabled televisions including the broad implementation of “TV Everywhere”.

Prior to her current role, Ramonica spent a decade with Turner’s leading digital news brand – CNN.com – serving as the website’s Director of Digital Business Integration.  She conceived, organized and managed this department responsible for collaborating with the sales teams to create strategies and new advertising and sponsorship opportunities across multiple platforms between CNN Digital Sales and CNN.com.  Also, she guided her team to provide expertise in advertising strategy, development and execution for new CNN digital product launches.   Additionally, during Ramonica’s tenure at CNN.com, she was instrumental in securing strategic editorial partnerships in feature news sections of CNN.com including Oprah.com, RealSimple.com, EW.com and Health.com.

Ramonica joined Turner in 1995 as an entry-level Video Journalist at CNN.  Throughout her tenure she has risen through the ranks transitioning her editorial experience as a Producer to support and influence key digital and business areas of CNN and Turner.  

Ramonica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Howard University and Masters of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University.  She currently lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three children.
