Raquel DiPerna is the Vice President of Production and Creative Operations for BET Networks. Raquel oversees production, on-air strategy, brand solutions creative and technical operations for Creative Services at BET & Centric.
Raquel joined BET Networks in 2009, bringing nearly two decades of production and media experience to the position. Prior to her role at BET, Raquel served as an Executive Producer at Reel Jem, a creative boutique specializing in on-air promotion. In this role, Raquel was responsible for leading creative campaigns, overseeing production, and generating new business.
In addition, Raquel spent thirteen years at Lifetime Television where she was responsible for production and operations for Advertising and Promotion at Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women.
The impact of Raquel’s leadership prowess extends beyond BET Networks, where she takes an active role as a leader within three professional enhancement groups. Raquel oversees TV DNA, a 200+, women’s networking group for entertainment professionals. She created and leads the Network Summit Team, a cable industry group that shares best practices among advertising and promotion executives. Raquel is also the co-chair of the Marketing and Communication Committee for HERE, Viacom’s Women’s affinity group.
Raquel received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the School of Communication at Boston University. She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
