Rebecca Josephson currently serves as Vice President of Digital Products Operations at Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO). She is responsible for leading a team of Product, Program Management & Operations employees to transform processes aimed at driving operational excellence, while building & maintaining a white-glove customer and partner support experience. Rebecca joined HBO in April 2011.
Rebecca is an established leader with over 14 years of experience in at the intersection of media and technology. At HBO, she managed the rollout of the brands first Expanded SVOD services, extending the full HBO catalog to set top boxes across major cable operators for the first time. She has supported the expansion of industry recognized products, HBO GO and HBO NOW, to reach over 20 digital platforms and millions of customers. In her current role overseeing the Customer Support organization, she has guided operational readiness for critically acclaimed series, such as Game of Thrones, scaling customer support staffing by 300% to maintain service levels under peak load.
Prior to HBO, Rebecca was a Senior Director of Client Services Operations at a company now known as Frankly, delivering web-based CMS and video technology for hundreds of TV broadcasters, including CBS, ABC and Tribune.
Rebecca is a member of Women @ HBO ERG and enjoys mentoring other women in technology; helping to pave a way for equality in the workplace. She holds a BA from James Madison University, where she earned a degree in International Business. Rebecca resides in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and two children, Riley & Reese.
