Renee Beck is currently the Director of Production Services, Programming & Production for National Geographic Channel in Washington D.C. She oversees a full service in-house production and post-production team responsible for fulfilling the wide array of editorial needs required to bring programs up to standards for non-broadcast, digital and broadcast distribution for both National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild.
Prior to joining National Geographic Channel in 2008, Renee held positions at Discovery Communications and Retirement Living TV. For 5 years while at Discovery, she managed all in-house post-production for various domestic networks including Discovery Channel, TLC, The Science Channel and Discovery HD Theater. In 2006 Renee left Discovery to join the start-up up cable network, Retirement Living TV. While there, she established and grew the Post Production department to support production of over 750 hours of original programming within the first 18 months.
Beyond her professional career, Renee lives outside of Washington D.C. with her husband and two spoiled rotten little boys, ages 1 and 5.
