Richelle Markazene

Richelle is a Coordinating Producer II in ESPN’s Content and Coverage group, responsible for leading and managing NBA coverage for all SportsCenter shows. In this role, she oversees a group of reporters and producers in the field and provides coordination and editorial guidance for remote content across multiple ESPN platforms.  As a member of the Content and Coverage group, Richelle also plays a lead role in planning coverage for all breaking news.

Prior to joining the Content and Coverage group, Richelle served as a Coordinating Producer II in Studio Production in Los Angeles, CA, overseeing three daily studio shows, SportsNation, The Jump, and Jalen & Jacoby. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of daily production and long-term planning for the three shows.  Richelle played an integral role in the launch of ESPN’s first daily NBA studio show, The Jump, in February of 2016.

Richelle started her career at ESPN in 2007 in Bristol, CT as an Associate Producer. She contributed to several shows, including SportsCenter, Outside the Lines, Nascar Now, eventually working as the producer of ESPN’s successful daily morning show, First Take.

Richelle resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband, Peter, and their daughter, Leah.
