Roada Hawkins is a Senior Manager of Employee Relations at Comcast Cable. She is responsible for employee relations and engagement in Central Division. Her primary focus areas consist of Xfinity Retail Service Centers, Community Accounts, and Comcast Business. She is responsible for counseling and advising business leaders and human resources partners on escalated employee grievances received through the company’s ethical reporting system. Her collaborative approach allows her to lead engagement initiatives designed to improve the employee experience.
Roada began her professional career in the United States Air Force. During her time in service, she had the unique opportunity to work at the Pentagon, White House and U.S. Capitol. In 2000, she began her journey into telecommunications, ultimately working for top companies such as T-Mobile, Verizon, L-3 Communications and ADC Telecommunications.
She joined Comcast in 2014 in the role of Human Resources Manager for Business Services. In this role, she was responsible for multiple Human Resources functions and worked directly with the leadership team to ensure that strategic HR goals, policies and programs were aligned with business initiatives.
Roada has a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Human Resources Management. She resides outside of Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling to support and watch her daughter play high school soccer and her son play college football.
