As Director of Digital Ad Sales Production, Robin Richardson oversees all sales commitments for CMT digital – including sponsor integrations within CMT.com, CMT apps and CMT mobile. She produces custom co-branded digital campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and is responsible for the complete life-cycle of each campaign from ideation through design, production, promotion and metric analysis of performance. She is accountable for driving revenue success and develops digital marketing strategies for major CMT initiatives such as the CMT Music Awards and CMT Artists of the Year. She is also the brand leader for CMT Digital on all of Viacom’s cross-site campaigns. Prior to joining CMT Digital in 2006, Robin spent four years as a writer/producer for CMT News covering country music and entertainment news.
Before joining CMT in 2002, Robin worked as a producer for Jim Owens and Associates collaborating with clients on product integrations and in-show features for the Cook & Chase Show. She began her media career in Indiana, working as a television news photographer and audio technician, before moving to Nashville in 1998.
Robin has an M.B.A. from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Indianapolis. She is an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Project Management Institute (PMI) and is one helluva golfer. She currently resides in Mount Juliet, Tenn., with her husband and 8-year old twins, Rachel and Nate.
