Rose Kirkland

​Rose Kirkland serves as Vice President of Enterprise Portfolio Management for Cox Communications.  In her role, she is responsible for managing the $250M+ capital investment portfolio reserved for key strategic initiatives. Her team is also responsible for investment governance, program delivery, and enterprise change coordination. She also serves as the executive sponsor of the LEAD program, a 2-year leadership development program focused on project and program management.

 

Rose has served in the telecommunications and cable industry for 19 years and has a successful track record delivering complex technology and business transformation projects. She joined Cox Communications in 2011 as Vice President of Business Requirements and Relationships, where she was accountable for managing business demand for Technology services (IT and Network).  Her responsibilities included coordinating Technology project requests and facilitating the capital planning and project prioritization processes from concept through implementation. 

 

Before joining Cox, Rose was a Vice President at CapGemini where she led large business transformation programs for CapGemini’s Communications clients in the US and Europe.  She also 12 years at BellSouth as Executive Director of Information Technology – Software Delivery where she was responsible for all application architecture, software development, and implementation for BellSouth’s retail billing systems, which produced over 30 million invoices per month, and directed a global delivery team of 350+ resources (with an annual budget ranging from $75m – $125m).

 

Rose is a member of WICT and serves as the Director of Membership – Georgia for the Southeast chapter
She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Spruill Center for the Arts, a private, non-profit organization offering a diverse program of classes, professional artist exhibitions and outreach programs for seniors, youth and audiences with special needs. She also serves on the board of the Dunwoody Nature Center.
