Sally West

As Director of Finance and Reporting, Sally West provides financial leadership for Suddenlink’s largest call center, which serves customers across 16 states through phone, email and chat. Since 2008 she has been a member of the Tyler Call Center’s senior management team, contributing to the development and implementation of strategy that shapes the experience of over half the company’s customers. In 2009 her role expanded to lead a team that provides analysis and reporting for all care centers in Suddenlink.

After beginning her career at Texas Instruments, Sally later served as Director of Accounting for a regional behavioral healthcare system. She was subsequently promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the organization, and eventually served on the Board of Directors of its affiliate.

In 2000, Sally joined the telecommunications industry as Regional Business Manager for Cox Communications and in 2004 was promoted to direct the field and office operations of the South Texas region. She considers her operational experience to be a key factor in her ability to go beyond the role of financial advisor, and make decisions on employee satisfaction, revenue generation, and customer loyalty.

Sally earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University, and later obtained her CPA and CMA designations. She serves on the Board of Directors as Program Chair for the Greater Texas Chapter of WICT, and is a past recipient of the chapter’s Gary Morrison Scholarship.

Sally lives in Austin with her husband, Philip, and their two Jack Russell terriers.  She loves reading, yoga, amateur interior design, and occasionally catching a show in the world’s live music capital.
