Samantha DiPippo is Vice President, Development at Crown Media Family Networks, home of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In this position, she is responsible for the sourcing and development of original scripted content for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, as well as, shepherding the assigned movies and series through all aspects of the production process from ideation to final delivery.
Prior to Crown Media Family Networks, she was Director, Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Lifetime for five years where she oversaw creative on over 90 original films for Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network, including Expecting Amish for which she was a co-writer.
She started her career at Sony Pictures Television in syndication sales and then moved on to Scheduling & Programming at truTV. Eventually she transitioned to Scheduling & Acquisitions at History Channel prior to Lifetime.
Samantha graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television/Radio from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications. She resides in Manhattan with her husband and lovable dog.
