Samantha Lockwood is Manager of Talent Acquisition Marketing Operations at Comcast Cable. Her current responsibilities include optimizing enterprise wide Talent Acquisition marketing initiatives. This includes negotiating with job boards and other marketing channels for best rates, consulting the field on best practices, and developing recruitment brand strategy and execution.
Samantha began her career with Comcast in 2001 as a Regional Recruiter where she was recognized as the “National Recruiter of the Quarter” in 2002. When Comcast merged with AT&T Broadband, an opportunity opened for Samantha to analyze data when she accepted the role of HR Analyst. In 2003, Samantha accepted a promotion to Recruitment Manager where she coached, mentored and developed a professional staff of three recruiters. In 2006, Samantha moved over to Comcast Headquarters where she began working on Enterprise wide recruiting projects, she accepted a promotion in March of 2008. Samantha is very proud of the work she did stabilizing the drug and background program for Comcast in 2007/08 and is now very excited by work she is doing optimizing the recruitment marketing function for Comcast.
Samantha received her BA in Economics from St. Joseph’s University. She is a graduate of the 2008 WICT Mentorship Program. Samantha serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation. She also sits on the Marketing Committee, Awareness Committee and Chair of the Nomination Committee for HERA.
