Samantha Seymour is a dynamic and passionate technical leader. She is currently the Director of Application Services and Maintenance for Altice USA. She has spent most of her career with Altice USA (formerly Cablevision Systems Corp). She began her journey with Cablevision as a member of the Application Support team ensuring the applications that supported the business remained stable and available. From there she moved into the Data Warehouse development organization as a programmer analyst. Through her accomplishments and innate influential ability to utilize informal leadership, she attained the role of manager and then a director role within Enterprise Data Management organization.
In 2017, she accepted her current role and continues to grow and enjoy the journey, which happen to include a move from Bethpage, New York to Plano, Texas. She successfully built a new organization that required combining several existing teams in the United States and India with a group she hired in the new Plano Operations Center.
Her career has included time in both IT operations and development organizations. Though she enjoys both, Samantha thrives in the unpredictability of the operations side.
Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. She is an ardent believer in lifelong learning and values continuing education. She continues to stimulate her mind and grow her professional skills through avid reading, attending professional development programs and completing technical certifications. Her latest endeavors include ITIL CSI and Agile Scrum programs.
Samantha completed the WICT/SCTE Mentorship program in 2017.
