Sami Simon is a Product Manager in Multiplatform Media & Technology Services at Viacom Media Networks. In her role, Sami manages the vision, development, and execution of both Mobile Web and TV Everywhere (TVE). For Mobile Web, her focus is on creating a strong mobile and tablet presence for many Viacom brands and major tent pole events. On TVE, she is dedicated to building and improving the authentication services component across mobile, web and connected devices for Viacom’s largest brands including Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon. With her products, Sami leads design and development teams to deliver high quality digital products with a delightful user experience.
Prior to coming to Viacom, Sami has had experience in digital product development at PBS Kids where she supported the PBS Kids website as well as member station relations. She also has a background in doing usability research for such brands as The Sesame Workshop and WGBH.
Sami hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as well as her Masters in Education with a focus in Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She currently happily resides in Astoria, NY. In her spare time, Sami enjoys cooking challenges, riding her bicycle, traveling, and brewing her own beer.
