Sara Dionne

Sara Dionne is the Vice President of HR Strategy and Operations for the Northeast Division at Comcast.  In this role, Sara is responsible for strategic HR support of a wide range of business strategies, from the launch of Xfinity Mobile where she supported the sales teams, to the rollout of Customer Consent, and our recent launch of Go Big.  Sara has the ability to grasp and lead complex strategies and willingness to bring them to fruition in a simpler, more customer-friendly way.  Sara is also an accomplished facilitator, and her strength in this area helped the HR organization and the functions she supported to have high-impact meetings that were followed by meaningful action plans.


Previous to this role, Sara was the Senior Director, Human Resources for the Northeast Division of Comcast.  Her role focused on transformation efforts across all Sales channels with an emphasis on sales effectiveness, sales compensation and workforce productivity.  Additionally, partnering with the Talent team, Sara focused on achieving recruitment goals and increasing diversity and inclusion efforts across the Sales channels. 


Sara also served as Vice President, Talent Acquisition for the Central Division of Comcast Cable Communications leading all Talent Operations for the talent organization responsible for attracting and hiring approximately 10,000 employees annually. 


Upon joining Comcast in 2008, Sara was responsible for several programs targeted at the advancement of core recruitment and talent management across the Comcast organization.  She has led efforts such as instituting hiring assessments nationally for all frontline positions, implementing a Center of Excellent recruiting model, and the annual talent review and succession planning programs.


Before joining Comcast in May of 2008, Sara served as Director, Marketing Strategy, and Director, Market Research and Analysis for Fidelity Investments HR Services products.   Preceding these roles, Sara held positions of increasing responsibility at Fidelity in Human Resources, including consulting with Fortune 500 companies on succession planning to build an aligning tool.


Sara is SPHR Certified and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Rivier College in Nashua, NH as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH.  She is also a certified Personal Coach through WellCoaches.
