Sarah Chung

Sarah Chung is a Vice President of Finance and Sales Planning & Analysis in Content Distribution at Viacom Media Networks, a division of Viacom Inc., home to the world’s premier entertainment brands that connect with approximately 700 million global subscribers through compelling content.  In her current role, Sarah manages the Company’s content distribution license fee driven revenue across various platforms including over-the-top (OTT).  Sarah is responsible for leadership in the development of key strategic sales planning analyses.  During Sarah’s 10 years at Viacom Media Networks, she has also played a key role in providing financial guidance on numerous renewals and deal negotiation.  Sarah leads a team of 14 professionals.

 

Sarah has extensive experience in the Entertainment and Media industry.  She started her career at Warner Brothers Pictures, headquartered in Burbank, California where she worked on a variety of theatrical distribution matters internationally for the mega-hit movies like a series of Harry Potter, Matrix, etc.  After moving to the East Coast, Sarah was at NBC Universal where she managed digital distribution and its performance across all portfolio from Digital Media Studio, NBC’s newly created in-house start-up back then. 

 

Sarah grew up in Korea and moved to the States in 1999.  She has an MBA degree in Entertainment & Media from Loyola Marymount University.  Sarah completed the NAMIC’s Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) at UCLA Anderson Business School (Class IX) in 2010.  Sarah resides in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband and their two children.
