Sarah Colley

Sarah serves as an Assistant General Counsel for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. She supports the ad sales divisions across Turner’s news, entertainment and sports properties. In this capacity, Sarah handles advertising and representation agreements and provides training and counseling on a wide variety of legal and business issues, including Turner created commercial material, regulatory matters, advertiser creative and sales operations. She also supports the commercial clearance group, reviewing creative and advising on policy and regulatory issues. In addition, Sarah provides support to the marketing division of CNN Worldwide and Turner corporate divisions. Sarah joined Turner in 2001 and over the last 11 years has had the pleasure of a diverse practice through serving a wide range of client groups in the ever-changing media landscape.

Sarah came to Turner from East-West Management Institute where she managed judicial and economic reform projects in post-Communist countries in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.  Previously, Sarah was an associate at the Washington, D.C. firm Rubin, Winston, Diercks, Harris and Cooke. Immediately after finishing law school, Sarah served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Higgins in the Middle District of Tennessee.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Oregon, School of Journalism and the University of New Mexico School of Law. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two young sons.
