As Director of Marketing, Sarah Mitchell is responsible for driving go-to-market strategies and tactics for the Comcast Business team in the Twin Cities region, including sales enablement, new product launches, incentives, promotional offers and referral programs. Sarah’s team monitors the competitive landscape and assesses its impact and opportunities for the local team. The marketing team drives rewards, recognition and employee engagement for the team.
Sarah has a B.A. degree from Carleton College in Northfield, MN and holds advanced degrees from the University of Minnesota’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She joined Comcast in 2013, with past experience in communications in the public relations field and government as a political analyst. Sarah served as a Lead for the Twin Cities ‘Women’s Network’ Employee Resource Group (2017- 2018) and graduated from Comcast University’s ‘Foundations of Organizational Leadership’ (FOL) program in 2018.
Sarah lives in Eden Prairie, MN with her husband, Jim, and their two daughters, Sadie (10) and Emily (7) and their rescue hound. With her daughters, she volunteers at the Jeremiah Program in Minneapolis, a residential facility for young mothers and their children. She loves traveling, music and attending local theatre events.
