Sarah Weinstein was recently named the Business Information Security Officer for Comcast Cable Corp., the country’s leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services. Comcast Cable has transformed into a software company, with core values rooted in Agility, and a DevOps culture that releases software thousands of times per year. In her role Sarah oversees the cybersecurity strategy for the Cable Divisions, Business Services and Comcast Technology Solutions.
Sarah’s team is doing ground-breaking work and is responsible for the security of Comcast products, information, infrastructure, and the enterprise.
Previously Sarah led product and new business development teams for over 10 years in the cable industry. Sarah has been on the forefront of every next gen service, including the smart home and the most recent innovations in Wi-Fi technology. She produced XFINTY Home, the XB6 and the syndicated broadband service offerings now sold throughout the industry. Sarah’s responsibility over the smart home and broadband development portfolios required her to lead multiple engineering teams in Philadelphia, Austin, and the Silicon Valley as well as dozens of service partners around the globe.
Sarah resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband Dr. Adam Weinstein and their sons Malcolm and Alexander. Sarah is a founding Board Member of the Tiny Dynamite Theater Company, is a proud LEGO FIRST Jr. Coach and a very active member of her local community.
