Selena Thomas

Selena Thomas has been employed by Time-Warner Cable and its affiliates for 20 years. Starting as a Customer Service Representative, she quickly moved through the five levels of that position.  She then served as a Senior Customer Service Representative.

 

 Her next advancement was as a Customer Care Supervisor, where she was awarded the "MVP" for the year 2011 and was she was instrumental in developing the New Employee Transition Department for Colorado Springs.  As the Transition Supervisor, she trained and developed five subordinates who were promoted to supervisory positions.  In her present position as a Customer Care Manager, her team was selected to participate in the launch of the new C360 Pilot Program, and is the Chairman of the Colorado Woman’s Collective. She is responsible for managing an amazing team of 8 Supervisors and 96 Care agents. Over the past 2 years, her Care team led the Center in overall Sales Revenue, Average Handle time and Customer Care Satisfaction.

 

 Selena has been very successful because of her ability to motivate her team to set and reach goals.  Her vast experience of operations from bottom to top has given her a unique prospective on relating to employees and their pursuing of success.  She encourages to value their work as a career and not just a job.  She leads her teams by example, and establishes a positive atmosphere in which to attain success.

 

 In her personal time, she enjoys fund-raising for community events.  She also likes to attend live concerts and kickboxing.
