Sharon Alston is vice present human resources for TV One. In this capacity she has oversight of all network human resources functions including onboarding, compensation, employee and talent relations, talent acquisitions, employee benefits, performance management, policy implementation and employment law compliance. She also works closely with senior management in an advisory capacity and with legal and business affairs in all network matters.
Sharon came to TV One 10 years ago from the American Forest and Paper Association where she served as human resources generalist guiding managers in recruiting and employee relations, administered employee compensation training and benefits programs and served as liaison between employees and management.
A graduate of the University of Maryland University College, Alston resides in Washington, DC.
