Sharon Kopp

Sharon Kopp serves as Vice President, Content Distribution & Marketing for Viacom Media Networks where she is responsible for developing and implementing strategic relationships with cable operators and digital and mobile partners, including structuring, negotiating and executing deals, overseeing marketing efforts, as well as pursuing new distribution opportunities.

Prior to joining Viacom, Sharon served as Assistant General Counsel, Business and Legal Affairs for Verizon FiOS Television & V CAST Mobile Video where she negotiated Verizon’s content acquisition deals with the cable programmers, Hollywood movie studios and other content providers for the Verizon FiOS TV service and the V CAST mobile video service.

Sharon was previously an associate in the Intellectual Property, Media and Technology Group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York.

Sharon received her J.D. in 2001 from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. in 1997 from Northwestern University. Sharon lives in New York City with her husband Nuri, their daughter Jolie and Vegas the bulldog.
