Sharon White

Sharon White is Vice President, Human Resources for Home Box Office, responsible for providing human resources consultation to HBO’s NY, Seattle and London offices.  She leads an east-coast based employee relations team in the development and support a broad range of initiatives that support a productive work environment and fosters a culture of innovation, inclusion and collaboration.  Sharon joined HBO in February 2016. 

 

Before joining HBO, Sharon was Vice President of Human Resources, for Scripps Networks, LLC.   At Scripps she was the primary liaison to the company’s Food Network and Corporate Development divisions in New York.  Sharon was responsible for the day-to-day execution of key HR initiatives, practices and policies in support of the brand’s talent management strategy. She joined Scripps in August 2010.

 

Prior to assuming her role at Scripps, Sharon was Senior Director of Human Resources for the global fashion brand, Tommy Hilfiger, in New York. In this role she led the HR efforts in support of the brand’s retail business.  Sharon also worked for Polo Ralph Lauren in various positions.

 

Sharon holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Baruch College, CUNY where she also earned a bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature and received the CUNY Diamond Fellowship award. Sharon resides in Jersey City with her husband Mark and children Sydney & Carter.
