Shinese Collins

​Shinese M. Collins is a Senior Marketing Manager for the East Region of Cox Communications. Her area of expertise is developing and executing marketing initiatives in support of the Internet and Telephone products. She specializes in marketing programs that require extensive collaborative strategizing with multiple departments

 

During her 20 + years in the telecommunications industry, Shinese has acquired extensive communication, relationship-building, planning, presentation, coaching, and development expertise. Accordingly, to further share her expertise within the aforementioned areas, she authored a book in 2016 entitled Resilient on Purpose. Shinese has been a featured keynote speaker for women’s associations (including WICT VA), religious organizations, and networking marketers.

 

To complement her work experience she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. and a Masters Business Administration degree from Averett University in Danville, VA. Shinese is the co-chair of mentoring for the Virginia Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications. She is also the secretary for the Virginia Chapter of NAMIC.

 

She is also a certified coach, author and speaker who equips women to overcome their fears, optimize their brilliance and ooze the right kind of confidence to build a powerful personal brand. Shinese is married and has a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, working in the community, and doing ministry with her church.
