Shirley Born is the West Coast Information Technology (IT) Vice President for Home Box Office (HBO). Shirley is responsible for the management of application development activities and operational oversight for HBO’s Santa Monica office. She was named to this position in January, 2009.
Shirley joined HBO in 2000 as the Manager of Application Development and then promoted to Director in 2006. Shirley has developed and implemented many Financial, Original Programming and Scheduling systems and business processes that have had significant positive impact and increased efficiencies for HBO.
Before joining HBO, Shirley worked for Citicorp, performing research, design and implementation of ATM and home banking systems globally, with specific responsibilities in the USA, Europe and Asia.
