Simone Smith is currently the Supervising Producer at Nickelodeon International overseeing a creative team composed of writers, producers, editors and designers. Her team produces short-form content for Nick and Nick Jr.’s international markets for multiple platforms including on-air, digital and social. This content spans across more than 35 series a year, including tentpole events like the Kids’ Choice Awards and Slime Cup along with Nick International’s prosocial initiative, Together for Good. Her expertise lies within creative production, from development through delivery. She has been a part of the Nickelodeon family for nine years and is committed to the expansion of the brand worldwide.
Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Simone worked in long-form production — producing fashion, beauty, and lifestyle programming for networks including HGTV, DIY and WE tv.
When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband and two young children – both of whom bleed orange, just like their mom. She also loves to travel and enjoys watching SpongeBob all over the globe.
Simone graduated with honors from New York Institute of Technology, and holds a Masters Degree in Television and Radio Communications. She has also won multiple awards from PromaxBDA and Cynopsis for her work at Nick.
