Sue Wante

Sue Wante serves as the Area Vice President for Comcast’s Metro Boston East Area. In this role, she oversees and manages technical operations, sales and service centers for more than 300,000 local customers. Sue has more than 17 years experience in the cable industry, most recently serving as the Vice President of Technical Operations for Comcast’s Metro Boston Region. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing all facets of operations including technicians, dispatchers, quota management, construction, project management, and engineering. She implemented strategic metric reporting systems designed to increase productivity and customer satisfaction, ensuring network readiness and operational excellence for all Comcast services. Previously, Sue was the Director of Technical Operations for the Metro Boston area. In this role, she oversaw and managed technical operations, quality assurance goals and developed innovative programs to win customers in a competitive marketplace for more than 500,000 customers in the Greater Boston area. Sue also served as Director of Network Operations for AT&T Broadband’s Northeast region. In that role, she was responsible for the development and transformation of the Network Operations Center. She was instrumental in developing an organization that serves as a single point of contact for all regional network related trouble reporting, resolution, and escalation process standardization for all lines of business (Video, Data, Voice along with affiliated products). While at MediaOne, she served in a variety of advancing roles from Outside Plant Engineering Manager to Director of Systems Integration and to the Director of Workforce Operations. Prior to joining the cable and broadband industry in 1995, Sue served as a Strategic Account Consultant for MCI, Rochester Tel (RCI), and Teleport Communications Group. Throughout her tenure at these firms, Sue leveraged her ability to understand technology and train people on new systems while using metrics to measure and expand ROI as a result of using her company’s services. Sue earned her bachelor of science in communications and public relations from Boston University in 1987.
