Sue Weiske

Sue is Vice President and Associate General Counsel-Legal Operations at Charter Communications.  As lead counsel to one of Charter’s highest-volume business groups, she manages and directs the legal team supporting more than 200+ multiple dwelling unit (MDU) management/sales/operations team members.  Sue is also responsible for supporting Charter’s infrastructure backbone teams and addressing potential litigation issues arising from these business groups.   Her substantive practice areas include state by state contract development, federal and state law applicable to communications service providers, and land use issues, including forced relocation and right of entry.

Before joining Charter, Ms. Weiske was a general counsel for a communications start up, a partner at Fraser Stryker representing Level 3 Communications, a senior counsel at Time Warner Cable and a senor regulatory counsel for MCI Telecommunications.  Sue started her career as an assistant attorney general for the Colorado Office of Consumer Counsel.

Sue is also active in the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.

Ms. Weiske holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison School of Law and a BA in Political Science, magna cum laude from Clark University.  She resides in Denver, CO with her daughter.
