Sue currently
serves as the Division Vice President of Finance & Accounting for the
Central Division of Comcast. In her
current role, she oversees the month-end financial close process, forecasting
and budgeting for all expenses associated with the Operations for the Central
Division, as well as Operational Compliance and Internal Audit Operations. Before this appointment, Sue served as the
Controller and then Vice President of Finance for the Chicago Region of Comcast
where she was responsible for the local finance and business operations
functions.
Sue
joined Comcast in May 1991 originally with Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI) and ultimately
through the AT&T Broadband acquisition in 2002, and has held various
accounting and finance management roles during her 23 years in the
industry. Prior to joining Comcast, Sue spent
five years in the Denver, Colorado office of KPMG, where she managed all of the
audit functions for TCI and other clients.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of
Denver. She is a graduate of the 2004 Comcast
Executive Leadership Forum, attended the 2012 Comcast Women’s Executive
Leadership Program and participated in the 2013 WICT Executive Leadership
Development Series-Leading with Power and Authenticity.
Sue currently
lives in Atlanta with her husband Duane.
They have five children located in various cities around the country,
who they visit regularly. She serves as the
Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Atlanta Ballet.
