Susana Zepeda Cagan is the Vice President of Talent Relations & Special Projects for Turner Classic Movies. In this role, she leads all talent recruitment and development for the network, including talent ideation for all programming & brand initiatives, which includes specials and originals.
Prior to TCM, Susana worked in the digital arena, as the head of production and talent for NBCU’s Fandango and before this at Disney Interactive as the head of creative for the Disney online. In both of these roles she directed a team of producers, directors, writers and editors, in developing the teams online entertainment strategy.
Susana began her career in the film industry, working as a film executive for various filmmakers, developing screenplays, packaging and selling to distributors. She ran companies for Ed Feldman (The Truman Show), Gregory Nava (Mi Familia, Selena), Martin Scorsese & Barbara Defina and Ralph Winter (Wolverine).
Her first job was at KGTV, the ABC news affiliate in San Diego, starting as a tape coordinator and later an associate producer.
Susana currently lives in El Segundo, with her husband, teenage son and two beautiful dogs.
