Suzee Smith-Everhard serves as the Director of Community Relations and TeleVideo for Cox Communications Arizona. In this role, Smith-Everhard is responsible for community relations, community outreach, corporate citizenship, special events and community sponsorships. Prior to Cox Communications, Smith-Everhard was the Director of Local Programming transitioning from the ad sales operation to administration and operations management for TeleVideo Production Services and Arizona’s Regional Sports Network. In 1995, she was promoted to the Director of Community Relations and TeleVideo for Cox Communications Phoenix. Smith-Everhard began her cable career in 1981 with CableAd, the media division of American Cable Television, as Advertising and Media Coordinator. She remained with the organization when Times Mirror Cable Television purchased the system serving as the Program and Business Manager from 1983-1987. Smith-Everhard currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee for the Metropolitan Phoenix Boys and Girls Clubs and is Chair of the 2006 STARS Youth of the Year, the Board and Membership Advisory Council for the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, the Board and Executive Committee for Arizona Business and Education Coalition; and the SuperBowl 2008 Preparatory Task Force. Past board and committee leadership roles include Women in Cable Television, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Maricopa County Sports Commission, the Marketing Committee for the Valley of the Sun United Way, and the Board of Phoenix Suns Nite Hoops. A graduate of Arizona State University, she holds a bachelors degree in Marketing. She is married to Joe Everhard and they reside in Scottsdale.
