Tammie Williams is a Certified Public Accountant and Controller at Turner. Her areas of responsibility include CNN Worldwide, Time Warner Enterprise Shared Initiative, Capital Finance, and Turner Corporate. Tammie and her team of financial professionals are responsible for ensuring the accurate reporting of segment level forecasts, budgets, and actuals. Tammie serves as a dedicated resource to segment CFOs. She is also a liaison to finance and operational partners on issues of accounting policy and process.
Prior to joining Turner, Tammie held positions in financial accounting and reporting, internal controls, and compliance across various industries. She began her career as a financial and technology auditor at First Data. Tammie moved on to roles of increasing responsibility with Avaya, General Electric, and Equifax, gaining experience in SOX compliance, general ledger accounting, and business continuity planning.
Tammie is a "double eagle", having earned both a Master of Accounting degree and dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees (Accounting and Computer Information Systems) from Georgia Southern University. She and her husband, David, are the proud parents of two young men, David Marcus (13) and Dylan Matthew (10). The family resides in Fayetteville, GA and worships at the West End Church of Christ.
