As Director of Media Relations for family-entertainment network INSP, Tara Brown is tasked with managing the Public Relations and Communications activities for several of INSP’s subsidiaries, including INSP Films, a theatrical motion picture production company, and Imagicomm Entertainment, LLC, a content distribution company. She is also responsible for developing and executing multifaceted publicity campaigns for INSP’s slate of programs and series. Tara’s efforts have garnered high-profile exposure and awards for INSP’s programming, web content and personnel.
Before joining INSP, Tara worked in the publishing industry for Penguin Books and HarperCollinsPublishers where she implemented publicity campaigns across multiple genres for prominent authors who included former Senator Gary Hart, former Congressman J.C. Watts, and legendary singer Al Green. Her efforts resulted in numerous projects being named to national and New York Times bestsellers lists.
Tara is a member of WICT, NAMIC (where she serves on the Marketing & Communications committee); the Association of Cable Communicators (where she serves on the FORUM planning committee); and PromaxBDA.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Tara Brown resides in Charlotte, N.C.
