Tracey Owens is a Manager for the Network Operations and Planning Project Management Office (PMO) for Time Warner Cable. In her current role, Tracey is responsible for leading a Project Management team that manages corporate initiatives that span across multiple business units to ensure successful planning, development, and implementation. Tracey’s career in the cable industry began 8 years ago with Time Warner Cable. She held the positions of Project Manager in the Eastern Operations Group and Senior Project Manager in the Network Operations and Planning Group.
Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Tracey held positions in the Department of Defense (DOD) arena. As an Implementation Analyst at Axiom Resource Management and Northrop Grumman, she was responsible for managing the planning and pre-implementation activities for the deployment of the United States Navy’s new electronic health records system known as Composite Healthcare System II (CHCS II). In addition, Tracey held the position of Project Manager for Focal Data Communications deploying DSL in the San Francisco Region; and as a Project Manager for marchFIRST, managing the development and distribution of their shared hosting platform.
Tracey is an active member of both The Project Management Institute (PMI) and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). In 2009, Tracey obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. In 2010 & 2011, Tracey attended the WICT Leadership Conference and the WICT EDS program.
In her spare time, Tracey enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and three step children.
