Veena Agaram serves as a Project Coordinator, Program Management Office (PMO) for Time Warner Cable (TWC). In her current role, Veena is responsible for managing projects that involves working and interacting with various cross functional teams. Veena has been with Time Warner Cable for a little over six years. Prior to Project Management, she has held positions as an Analyst involving forecasting for subscribers and managing Switch Capacity. Veena has been instrumental in chartering the Sunrise Valley Toastmasters Club at the TWC Corporate location in Herndon, VA. She actively worked with the senior leadership at TWC and the folks from Toastmasters club to charter the club. In November 2012, the club was nominated and won the 2012 Toastmasters Corporate Award. Veena is currently serving as the President of this club.
Veena’s earlier career years focused in Business Analysis and Consulting arena. Prior to moving to Virginia, she worked in Chicago for Chicago Business Intelligence Group. As a Data Warehousing Consultant, Veena was responsible for collecting the requirements from the Business Users at SoloCup and aid in building the data mart that would help the executives make intelligent decisions about their customers. As a Business Analyst at AOL, she was responsible for developing reports for executives that aided in cost analysis for the projects in their respective departments and across each corporate unit within AOL.
Veena is an active member of WICT Washington DC chapter and has attended events such as Power Brokers breakfast, WICT Leadership Conference to name a few. Veena also participated in the 2012 WICT Mentoring program as a mentee.
In her spare time, Veena enjoys reading books, travelling and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and twin boys.
