Victoria Schmidt is based in Philadelphia, PA and serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Planning, Impact & Inclusion at Comcast.
In her 10+ years at Comcast, Victoria has developed industry expertise primarily focusing on risk management, legal compliance, and business operations. She began her Comcast career as a Legal Analyst and was quickly promoted to a Team Lead role at the Legal Response Center managing subpoena and legal discovery requests. To learn a new area of the business, in August 2010, Victoria moved to NBCUniversal Legal & Business Affairs at the Sprout® network where her responsibilities included advising the business on operational risks, licensing, and contract drafting & negotiation. She thrives on leading cross-functional teams through challenging and complex projects to develop a strategic, holistic solution.
Victoria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Communications minor from Lehigh University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice & Criminology from Northeastern University and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is actively involved with the Employee Resource Groups (ERG) at Comcast and serves on the ERG Mentoring Program Board as an Event Planner. Victoria lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and son.
