Viola Akruk is Senior Manager of Digital Marketing for Comcast.com. In this role, Viola’s primary focus is increasing site traffic to the Comcast website through search engine marketing and social media campaigns to further drive new customer acquisition and retention. Through continued utilization of testing and optimization strategies, Viola has been successful in delivering improved customer experiences, which have resulted in a multi-million dollar increase in incremental revenue for the Comcast.com channel. In addition, Viola and her team oversee landing page optimization through merchandising, audience-targeting and multivariate testing.
Prior to joining Comcast, Viola spent eight years heading up Marketing initiatives at the Hearst Corporation where she developed and executed campaigns for some of the largest magazine brands in the world. Her efforts were instrumental in transforming the industry through a seamless transition from print to digital. Viola developed successful online campaigns to further drive subscription acquisition by reaching an untapped audience in new markets.
Viola earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She received her Masters in Business Administration with distinction from Rider University. Viola is a Philadelphia native and currently resides in Center City.
