Yana Blackwelder

Yana Blackwelder is an Adjunct Professor at NYU teaching coaching to graduate students pursuing their Human Resource Management degrees and an Executive Coach for the INSEAD Global Leadership Centre. She has been specializing in the field of Global Leadership Development since 2003. Yana is skilled at developing talent and improving communication which increases engagement and improves the leadership capabilities of her clients. Yana is utilizing her knowledge of psychology, business management and her intercultural experience to address the whole person, mind and heart, which maximizes performance of her clients in our competitive global business environment.

Mrs. Blackwelder has been leading Coca-Cola HBC,Russia’s large scale coaching culture initiatives since 2010. In 2016 this project was awarded an Honorable Mention Global ICF Prism Award for the best implementation worldwide. Over 500 leaders around the world, from high-potentials to Fortune 500 senior leaders, have benefitted from her expertise. Among her clients such organizations as World Bank, World Economic Forum, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, BAE Systems and others. In 2015 Yana had joined ICF NYC Board of Directors and serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at ICF New York.

Yana has been awarded her M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She holds her B.S. in Business in MIS from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Yana is also currently pursuing her PH.D at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. She received her Coaching Certification from Coaching Development in London. She is a Professional Certified Coach by ICF and a trained ICF coaching competency assessor. Yana works with her clients in Russian and English. She lives in New York City with her family and works all over the world.
